ALL NATURAL "BARD'S" SHAMPOO AND BODY WASH

The Bard's formulation was developed in Livingston, Texas by Beverly Athey, who made fine natural soaps for many years, and Roger A. Deal, a chemist specializing in herbal formulations. The Bard's process does not follow the normal soap making procedures and is a new proprietary process. The Bard's name comes from the inventors, Beverly Athey and Roger A. Deal.

One unique feature of BARD's is the combination of capsicum (a proprietary formulation produced from cayenne) and emu oil. Capsicum belongs to a class of herbs known as rubifactants which stimulate blood circulation in the skin. This is the sensation experienced when tasting a hot pepper. Grandma's mustard plaster remedy works on the same principal causing increased blood flow to the congested chest area.

In normal aging, baldness begins on top of the head, an area of diminished circulation. Skin conditions such as psoriasis are usually most prevalent on legs and arms, also areas of diminished circulation. The BARD'S formulation is very gentle and does not cause any unpleasant skin sensation.

Emu has been demonstrated to be the fastest and most penetrating oil into the skin, thus making it an excellent transdermal carrier for other moisturizers and therapeutic ingredients. Emu is a natural oil that is non-toxic, non-comedogenic (does not clog pores), hypo-allergenic (not irritating) and gentle for most skin types. Also, emu has been noted to be an effective anti-inflammatory.

The largest organ in the body is the skin which is nourished and maintained by the blood. With increasing age, obesity, lack of exercise, poor diet and the multitude of today's other health issues, circulation in the skin can be compromised. To futher compound skin problems, many of the conventional skin and hair products (soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc) contain petroleum derived ingredients that have been demonstrated to be harmful to the body and in some cases carcinogenic. The skin must be able to breath as it is a natural outlet for cellular respiration by-products as well as body temperature regulation. Clogging of the pores by unnatural and harmful substances can prevent these processes and open pathways for parasites and disease.

Some general and repeated feed-back includes:

Softer skin and a decrease in fine facial wrinkles Gradual disappearance of skin blemishes

Increase in hair body with less loss Improvement of psoriasis conditions

Gradual color increase in gray head and facial hair

Bard's Shampoo and Body Wash is all natural and does not contain any petroleum derivatives including the preservative. It contains saponified oils of olive, palm, coconut, lard, and castor with glycerol, emu oil, capsicum and citric acid (preservative).

Bard's Shampoo and Body Wash yields a low suds - rich lather upon wetting. For shampoo, wet the hair, rub the Bard's bar in the hands to create the rich lather and then work vigorously into the hair and scalp. On the body, either a wash cloth or a loofah works well. Massage the lather well onto the body for the unique cleansing and conditioning result.

Bards has given the most attention to the quality of the product rather than overwhelming the consumer with fragrance. Only a minimum of fragrance is employed.
